Business Automation - Send Immediately behavior clarification
We’ve improved the Business Automation setup experience by adding clearer guidance for automation options that are designed to run once per day at a scheduled time. Previously, these automation types could appear confusing because emails were not sent immediately after a customer met the specified conditions. In reality, the system waits until the configured schedule, checks which records meet the automation criteria at that time, and then sends the emails. With this update, helpful explanations are now displayed directly within the setup process, making it easier for users to understand how these automation options work and set the correct expectations for when emails will be sent.
Locating Additional Guidance:
Go to Settings
Under Email/Text Communications, click on Automations
Select a Focus and Automation Option, click Next
Set the Automation Name, Extended Contact Sending Behavior, and Criteria, click Next
On the Frequency Page notice the additional guidance provided.
