One-Click - Optional Credit Card Authorization Number field on Credit Card Payments
We’ve added a new "Authorization Code" field for Credit Card Payments to provide users with an optional way to record credit card authorization numbers.
The goal of this enhancement is only to record and display this payment data in P3 Command Center. It does not send this data through the Payment Gateway so it will not impact the transaction itself.
How it Works:
When entering a Credit Card payment through the Customer Online Portal or P3 Command Center:
You’ll see a new field labeled Authorization Code.
The field is optional so the person who is making the payment may leave it blank or enter a value if available.
The system accepts alphanumeric values (letters and numbers) with a maximum of 30 characters.
Locating the Field:
Go to an Invoice
Click on the Pay Now button
Select Credit Card Payment
See new "Authorization Code" field

Notes:
This field is optional and designed for recording purposes only.
Originally intended for Online Payments as Customers as they ones who need to provide this code but we also added this in the Command Center for Office Admins taking payments via phone call.
Authorization Codes are not transmitted to or validated by the Payment Gateway.
