One Click – Calendar - Drag and Drop Call to Another Date
We’ve added the ability to drag and drop a Service Call, Generic Call, or Open Call to a different date in the Main Calendar. This enhancement makes it easier to reschedule calls directly from the calendar view without needing to open or edit the call details manually.
Feature Details
Users can now drag a call from one date and drop it onto another date within the same week.
When dragging a call (for example, from Thursday), hovering over another date (such as Friday) will automatically load that day’s calendar view, allowing the user to drop the call there.
The feature is designed to simplify daily scheduling adjustments and reduce the number of clicks required to move calls between dates.
Weekly Range Limitation
Drag and drop is only allowed within the currently selected week.
When users open the Appointment Calendar, the default week and current date are automatically selected.
The calendar displays 7 days (Sunday to Saturday).
Calls can only be dragged and dropped within those 7 days.
Example:
If the selected week is from Sunday, November 9 to Saturday, November 15, users can drag and drop calls only between November 9 and November 15.
Steps to Use Drag and Drop
Open the Appointment Calendar.
Locate the Service Call, Generic Call, or Open Call you want to move.
Click and drag the call from its current date.
Hover over the target date within the same week.
Once the target date loads, drop the call in the desired slot.

- This enhancement streamlines scheduling and gives users a faster way to reschedule calls within the week. Cross-week drag-and-drop functionality remains restricted to keep scheduling accurate and prevent conflicts.
