Auto-Product Replacement - Auto-Generate Invoice Setting
With Auto-Product Replacement Repair Tasks, there is a setting to Auto-Generate an Invoice when the Open Call is created. If activated, the software will create a corresponding invoice set to the price of the Repair Task at the time of creation of the Open Service Call.
For situations with varying commercial maintenance contracts that have a fixed price for a specific duration, this is a great time saver. For situations where you are replacing products in the future, like UV Lights, you might elect to not use this feature as you will want the software to pull the price of the UV Light in the future as the future price will mostly likely be higher than the current price.

Notes:
- Unlike the Recurring Service Call, an invoice will only auto-generate with the next open call. For example, if you have a quarterly maintenance repair task, the software will only create one invoice at a time, as the open service call is being generated.
