Scheduling a Service Call to a Crew is exactly the same process as scheduling a Service Call to an individual Technician. You can add a call directly from the Dispatch Board, drag and drop from the Open Call list, or create a new call from the customer page. All the same behavior as before.
The video below demonstrates these methods but also demonstrates how the Call can be adjusted once on the calendar. There is some additional functionality on top of the normal functionality.
In particular, the make up of the Crew for a given call can be changed, without impacting the overall Crew composition.
- Generic Calls can be assigned to a Crew
- If a Technician is a part of a Crew, they will have 2 rows on the calendar. The top row is for any Crew assignments. The bottom row is for any individual calls - service calls or generic calls
