Improved File Upload capability in the App
In Version 18.4, we improved and standardized the ability to upload files - be it a photo or actual files (PDF, mp4). This is to make the file upload process more intuitive for the Technicians on the field - bigger buttons, and easy to understand icons and interface.
This is available for all pages in the app where you can upload a file, specifically the following:
- Equipment Page
- Files Table
- Diagnostics
- Sending an Invoice Email
Upload Options:
- Camera - Let's you upload image by taking photos using the Device's Camera.
- Gallery - Let's you upload image by selecting existing photos from Device's Gallery.
- Device Files - Let's you upload actual files like PDF's from the Device's Files and Folders.
- Customer Files - Let's you link or attach already uploaded files from the Customer Files section of the Customer Record to an Equipment, Diagnostic, or when sending an Invoice email.

Notes:
- This update is only available for Tablet Version of the App for now but we are planning to apply this to the Phone App in future.
- You need to allow access to your camera, gallery, and device files to be able to upload. A prompt will appear if you want to allow access when uploading from the first time. Otherwise you can go to App Details of P3 in your device to manage allowed accesses.
