Telephone - Equipment & Browser Setup
To get the best experience from our Telephone module, it’s important that your microphone, speakers or headset, and browser are properly configured. A correct setup ensures that you can hear and be heard clearly, while avoiding common disruptions.
This article walks you through the steps for setting up your audio equipment, configuring your browser, and addressing potential conflicts such as browser extensions like ad blockers that may interfere with calling functionality.
Setting Up Your Audio Equipment

Notes:
- You can still use a regular headphone jack (3.5mm) or Bluetooth device, but be aware they sometimes cause issues like background noise, echo, or dropped audio. If you want the smoothest, trouble-free experience, go with USB.
- You can still use other browsers other than Google Chrome but please be aware that sometimes issues can arise.
- If you are using a Mac device, we highly recommend installing Google Chrome instead of using Safari which is the default browser.
