Version 16.4 Overview
We made a significant update to the software that impacted not just the Command Center, but also the Apps. The goal was to improve our communication to all people using the software and to give each person more control over their Home Page.
The changes include:
- Command Center - Home Page Changes
- Announcements - New Delivery Method for Command Center and App (16.4)
- Software Utilization - New Location and Details
- 2 Way Text - Initiate Conversation from Company Website
Command Center Home Page Changes
We decided to allow each person to decide which page they would like to see for their home page. Now each person has 3 options:
- Company Dashboard
- My Dashboard
- Calendar
We have defaulted everyone's home page to the "My Dashboard".
In addition, we have taken the information that used to be on the home page, specifically the Announcements and Software Utilization and moved them to a different location.

System Announcements - New Method
We have changed our announcements so that we can provide more robust messages. In addition, when the technicians upgrade to Version 16.4 of the App, they will be able to receive system announcements as well. Now, the technicians will be in the loop.
Furthermore, we added functionality where you can save messages, mark them as unread thereby saving them for later, flag messages and even delete them. Think of it like a mini-e-mail app for receiving messages from P3
Software Utilization - New Locations & Details
With the home page changes, we have moved the Software Utilization percentage to the top tool bar. Click on the number to get a more detailed explanation of your P3 utilization. In addition, on the Software Utilization page, we have provided help text to indicate why something is green or grey. Lastly, now, if you click on a feature, we are providing details about it. This way you can learn more about a feature you may not be using or might want more information to take full advantage of a feature already in use.
2-Way Text Upgrade - Initiate Conversation from Company Website
In this update is the ability to start a text chain with a customer from your website. Here, we have provided code that you can place on your company website. Then, when a person visits your website, there will be a prompt in the lower right hand corner. If the person clicks it, they will have the ability to start a 2 way text conversation.
Your company must have the 2-way text module activated to use this feature. However, there is no additional charge once 2-way text is activated. In other words, it is free to those already on 2-way text.
To provide visibility to how many new conversations or leads are generated from the website, we have created a couple of Dashboard Reports that can be added to your Dashboard.
