Part Changes

In Version 13.0, we have made a handful of changes to the Parts and the Part List Page.

If you haven't already, please read the Flat Rate - Structural Changes article first as there is a major big picture change that happened.  This article is for the more subtle changes that happened with Parts.

Here are the additional Part changes:

  1. Manufacturer Part Number
  2. Wholesale Part Number
  3. Part List Table Changes

 

Part Numbers

There are now 2 Part Number fields that can be set with each Part.  They are optional.   

These numbers can be added either by manually updating a particular Part from the Part List table, or via the "Bulk Update of Parts" via the spreadsheet.

The Part Numbers are not displayed anywhere in the software except for the Settings section - ie, they are for internal purpose only and not displayed to the customer or on the invoice.

 

Part List Table Changes

  • Removed the "Adjusted Cost" column - this was associated with the old structure so it no longer applies
  • Added the "Upload New Parts" button - use the P3 spreadsheet/template to add new Parts into the software
  • Added the "Bulk Update of Parts" button - the process to bulk update the existing Parts via a spreadsheet
