Customer Confirmation of Appointment
Starting with 10.4, appointment confirmation and appointment reminders (email and text) can include a link to allow the Customers to have a single click confirmation of the appointment. When the customer approves the status of the call updates on the dispatch calendar. This will reduce the number of day before appointment follow ups freeing up valuable time.
The link is a personalization variable that can be added to the Appointment Confirmation Communication and Appointment Reminder Confirmation, both of which are found under Settings/Email-Text Communications.
When the Customer clicks the link, P3 will change the pre-appointment Status to a new status called "Customer Confirmed". The name of the status can be changed as well as the default status color.
To activate the setting:
- From the Command Center, click on Settings
- Under the Dispatch Settings go to the Appointment Confirmation Section
- Change the value of "Include Appointment Confirmation Link in Customer Email and Text?" to "Yes"
- Save

No link on mine
We spoke with Larry and provided instruction on how to activate the setting. We also realized that the instruction was not in the video, so naturally it wasn't working for Larry. As a result, we updated the Help Desk article to include the instructions.
