Recurring Billing covers 2 important areas of the software.  

The first is with Service Agreements.  This functionality will allow for the creation of a "Monthly Service Agreement".  This will either be an Annual Service Agreement that is Paid Monthly or a Service Agreement is purely on a month-to-month basis.

In these situations, the software will automatically create a monthly invoice and charge the customer.  There will be reports and alerts if the credit card fails as well as to see the overall activity.  Companies will need an account with Cayan/TSYS for this functionality to work.

The second area is to take any invoice in the software and make it recurring.  In this case the software will just create the invoice on the frequency desired and you can opt to either have the software automatically charge a credit card or leave it unpaid.  

This is meant for non-service agreement invoices as that capability will be built into the service agreement itself.

  Recurring Billing would be awesome for service agreements have a couple customers that ask for it.  Have to do it manually then transfer it back into p3.  A time consuming process.  

   

  Being able to offer it to a customer would lead to alot more service agreement customers.

  Great to hear.  The main driver for this feature is to help sell more service agreements, so we can't wait to see the impact it has for your business.  As we get a little further along in the development of the feature we will start to show screenshots and videos on how it will work, so you will be able to hit the ground running with it, once it is released.

  The ability to have recurring billing especially on service agreements would be an absolute game changer!

  This was listed for December 2019, any update on its implementation timeline?

  The functionality is included in Version 10.0, scheduled to be released on 2/16.
