18.17 - Athena - ID Pro
In version 18.17, we are excited to officially introduce Athena, our new AI platform, now live in the Command Center. Athena is designed to bring smart, AI-powered solutions into P3, helping teams work faster, reduce manual effort, and improve data accuracy.
As part of this release, we are also launching ID Pro, the first solution available under Athena. ID Pro allows technicians to quickly identify HVAC equipment by simply taking a photo. No more guessing, typing, or double-checking serial and model numbers.
Please note that Athena and ID Pro are currently in beta and are free of charge during this phase.
🚀 How to Enable Athena and ID Pro
Follow the steps below to get started:
From the Command Center
From the left-hand menu, scroll down below Settings.
Click Modules.
Enable Athena.
Under Available Solutions, you will see ID Pro.
Before activating, you may click Learn More to understand how ID Pro works.
From the Learn More page, you can also activate ID Pro.
Once activated, you will be taken to the ID Pro Setup and Configuration page.
📱 Technician App Usage (iOS and Android)
Once ID Pro is enabled:
Technicians can use ID Pro in the P3 mobile apps on both iOS and Android.
Technicians must perform a main app download to receive the latest settings.
After the download is complete, ID Pro will be available when:
Adding new equipment from the Customer Record, or
Adding equipment from the Diagnostic page.
Technicians can scan equipment nameplates, and the equipment details will be captured automatically.
