18.12 - Overview
The 18.12 release focuses on improving the Technician Apps, Command Center performance, and communication reliability across the platform.
In the Technician Apps, we resolved multiple issues affecting usability and stability. The app no longer crashes when editing proposals, diagnostic notes and photo uploads now work as expected, and users can properly add or edit equipment details. We also fixed cloud search errors in ESM, making customer lookups faster and more consistent.
For Two-Way Texting, the updates address several issues, including opt-in/out responses not syncing correctly, phone numbers remaining linked after replacement, incorrect thread naming, non-clickable links, overly technical error messages, and appointment confirmation links not being hyperlinked. We also fixed message visibility problems when technicians and customers share the same number. And in the Telephone module, we resolved random “Unknown Caller ID” displays, ensured proper highlighting behavior for the Mute/Hold button in the Call Box, and corrected mismatches between after-hours voicemail messages and their custom recordings.
In the Command Center, we also resolved several issues affecting reports, exports, and invoicing. Reports like “Past Open Auto Tune-Ups” no longer cause P3 to freeze, and exporting components or completed invoices now works correctly. We fixed rounding discrepancies in recurring invoices, stabilized the ESM proposal link, and improved logic for deleting test invoices.
